    Hi guys,
Been away from here for a while..........been playing with me new set up :D
    Panasonic TH37PW7
    Panasonic Swivel stand (real cool)
    Scart Board
    Tuner box
    connected to this....

:smashin: very, very impressed with the quality of the amp in particular, goes very loud
Really inmpressed with the service from them as well.
I am so happy with this set up, I have to keep pinching myself.

Thanks everyone on here for all the help & advice.
Couple of things now that I have it all set up etc.

    1) What's the best picture settings for the pw7 via scart board & via the tuner box (component) to dvd?
Currently set on cinema......picture is WOW via component, not so good via the scart board but notice that the settings for the scart board are different than from the tuner, will this matter with regards to running in the screen?
    2) Have set the yamaha dvd player to component & then it gives the option to have progressive scan (yes/no) have tried both & tbh the better picture is with is off..........is this right? I thought progressive scan was meant to give a better picture?
Once again thanks for all your help.............gotta get back to watching ALL me films again!

    Bump!
Tried progressive on & off again but now it's giving a better picture with progressive from the dvd player on, anyone know why this is? Anyone?

btw Real nice amber light on the front panel of the yammie dvd player highlighting "progressive".. :smashin:
Oh one other thing, what are the ferrite cores in the box meant to do?
I presumed they were to do with PC use?

no ferrite cores should be used to encase your power suppy lead to stop any interference or noise, just open them up and place power cable inside then snap shut

use two ferrite cores - one at each end of cable BUT make sure that each core is less than 100mm (to furthest point) from the plug

    hope this helps :D
