I am presently using the Panny as my main system in my lounge and have recently bought the Sony to use in the bedroom. The Panny only has Prologic/Digital/DTS but the Sony has the addition of Prologic II. I don't set either system to the Prologic setting when watching movies but use the Digital source for 5.1/DTS. I can't help noticing that the Sony gives a much better "surround" sound stage than that of the Panny. There seems to be relatively little sound coming from the Panny surrounds compared to the Sony. Any ideas or is this just a trait of the system?
