Panny SCHT520 Question

    hi all.

    does this have an optical input, as everywhere ive checked says that it doesnt.

    how would i connect an xbox to it if it doesnt have an optical input?

    I have the same problem, my Dads system though, I want to connect my xBox to his SC-HT520 and HDTV projector (120" screen) but no S/PDIF inputs at all.
    I have an idea that it may be "possible" to jump onto the right pin on the cable that connect the sub woofer to the player. I suspect the actual dolby digital decoder is in the sub woofer, with the proprietary connector including an S/PDIF coax on one of the pins.
    Of course, even if this was correct, we would need to buy a device to convert optical to coax S/PDIF (I recal a device called the CO2 many years ago, but expensive).
