    Guys

I was going to buy an S97 but have been looking around and cannot find one
can anyone recomend an alternative model of the same spec.

I would wait for the new model to come out but seeing as my dvd player has died a death last night i could do with getting a new one asap

    Budget is about £200
    P.S. needs to be Multiregion

Hey Tipper, I picked up a new multiregion S97 last week from Richer Sounds. Stock is low and they're only available from the stores, not online. Oh, And it was £170 .
    Good luck, Rob. :smashin:

Panny have the new S49 - seems almost identical to S97 - except no HDMI, probably doesn't scale either. Manual is available to download from panny UK. :D

My next choice would have been a Samsung 950, I think.

You could try other RS branches though. They all keep different stock levels and they might get one shipped to your branch.

    Regards

I'm from Worcester and I find Cheltenham closer. (easier than the Hagley Road)
They're also open late on Thursdays.
