what video board is it?
Don't have a clue - ask ebuyer!
Even @ £1600 I'm too skint, don't ask me.
£1599.99 inc VAT
Out of stock
Where did you get that from? It says 100 in stock as far as I am aware.
PS - Don't you owe me £25 for recreational wares?
100 in stock now!!!!
99 actually - I've just persuaded my uncle to buy one.
Andy sent you a PM mate.... I need your address. Cheque waiting... I emailed you as well.
PS cracking bit of kit.
Just looked at delivery costs - £3.99 !! Makes you laugh, how can they deliver at this price and others charge up 70 odd quid?
You'll know when it arrives with a cracked screen and you have to move heaven and earth and run up the GNP of a small african nation on the phone just to get a replacement.
You get what you pay for. I'd look at AV-Sales (a forum regular/sponsor) in preference to eBuyer - the prices are not much different.
I've used ebuyer's returns dept before, albeit for just a motherboard, and couldn't fault them. I've used them many times before and all the "small" differences accumulate into thousands over years.
Perhaps I'm less risk averse than some, but I personally believe that a panel ordered from ebuyer is just as likely to arrive intact and working. Perhaps I'm just tight then... I always tend to buy from the cheapest source as 6 months down the road the premium paid to a more reputable specialist is lost if the upgrade bug bites and you're looking to sell. "Cost £3000 from Owl" doesn't mean much to any potential buyer when they can come back with "but can now be bought from Richer for £1800" ... Or whatever.
I'm not arguing that AV-Sales don't offer a valuable service, they do and I can tell from their other thread on this board how many satisfied customers they have. The purpose of this board is to announce special offers though, and this one I thought was pretty damn special.
not much of an offer as showing out of stock
No, I don't know what's going on there, one minute there's 100 available, then there's none. It did briefly show 98 units available earlier today, which is the most plausible figure I've seen. This item was advertised in this weekend's eblast - it's basically just a weekly spam which goes out with news of their best offers.
As I say my uncle ordered one, he was mailed earlier today saying it is now out of stock, but they've promised delivery by Thursday.
I'm just glad I didn't pay £1600 for a 2nd Daewoo panel last year, as I priefly planned to. The way the technology has become increasingly affordable that panel would have been worth next to nothing now.
back to saying 98 in stock?
Ebuyer have updated their site now, so it's less of a stab in the dark guessing which video board you're getting.
My uncle's should have arrived today, I'll drop him a line to see whether it's turned up in one peice.
