    Ok,

Looks like I've got myself a panny with the 'red led of death'. Can anyone tell me where I might find a local dealer who can help repair this, and does anyone know the cost?

I'm in Aberdeen by the way.

    Bad luck

Did you get it second hand or has the guarantee run out?

I am afraid that mine will suffer repeated failures until my guarantee expires, then I will be left with a dead duck. It cost me over a months wages, but I know never to buy Panasonic again

Can no one repair these at all - I did buy second hand, but it was manufactured in May 2002 so should be in warranty still.

If not surely there is some way to get it repaired anyway?

    Cheers

You should be able to call panasonic (They have a repair center number - 08709 070909) and they will collect it. I did, yesterday, they collected it with no questions about receipts or anything.
