I have burnt films onto Datawrite grey 8* dvd-r and onto bulkpaq printable 8* dvd-r and on both discs the playback jerks every few minutes in my standalone pacific dvd player.

In the panny they playback fine.

    Any help please.

Looks like your Pacific player doesn't like your choice of media.

I have used the discs before to backup my rare dvds and have played them back fine with no problems.

    Any other advise please.

Also the data write grey 8* are voted the best on dvd-recordable.org
