Panny Plasma for Pc viewing

Hi guys
Have a PE50 model
upgrading to new 80 model
can i use my old Panny for PC monitor
i just get a pc lead to component lead i guess
any one done this/got ideas

can this be moved to tv PLASMA SECTION
I SEEM TO GET LOST IN CYBERSPACE !!!

Wouldn't recommend it. Also too low resolution for the screen size, and not enough desktop space.

I'd use the plasma as secondary when using it for video playback, and just have a 17-22" LCD as primary.
 
Pretty sure the PE50 has a VGA port on it!

If so best to use a VGA-VGA cable (VGA from PC to VGA on display) and set the PC to output 852x480.

It's not a simple as getting a VGA - Component cable as conversion/converter is required to do this right or a suitable graphics card that can output component on a break out adapter!

no vga port on my PE50
so it looks like some form of adaptor /conversion needed
