I know there are a few of you (Mr.D has helped most of us out a few times). Can you plaese all answer my question so I can get the general concensus?

When watching an RGB source in 4:3 mode, I get a green line down the left side of the picture and no amount of alterations in the service menu will get rid of it. Any one else got the same? Cast your votes now before I start complaining to John Lewis!

I get a brighter than normal vertical line down the extreme left hand side of the image via RGB.
It is there in all picture modes (16x9 4x3 zoom)

It is most noticable in 4x3 mode.
It isn't green though and is not particularly troublesome on my particular set.

As you say moving the horizontal positioning or width of the picture does not adjust this feature.

I'll see if I can get any info from a bloke from panasonic who seems a bit better than the numpties on the phone

    Sam,
I get the same green line exactly as you describe. Once a DVD is played however, the screen flicks to wide and all is well. I've got a 4:3 version of Romper Stomper. I'll have to check to see if the line vanishes.
Let me know how you got on with John Lewis. I got mine from there too. :(
