If you don't need the tuner or speakers, then go for it. Better alternative than the LG I'd say. You'll need some sort of stand/mount though. The board that comes with that is the BNC component, there seems to be a shortage of RCA right now, so you'd need a new set of cables or converters, I think the latter are about £6 or so. I have used Ebuyer for small stuff before and found them to be fine.

AV-Sales have the PW7 for less than £150 more.

If you do not need speakers or a tuner there is no other choice than the PW7 or PW6.

I know these "here's what i got" posts are so dull, but got to do it - sorry.

I am hooking up a DVD player, Sky+ and PS2. I am happy to put the PS2 through SVHS and the SKY+ and DVD player through RGB.

The Audio is going through a seperate home theatre kit so all I need is the one RGB scart socket and an SVHS socket, or perhaps 2 RGB scarts.

So would I be right in saying that a PW6 or PW7 with the right board and stand would be a good choice?

Also lookinh at the Quintro RGB scart switch box - this looks particularly nice for putting multiple devices in - this means I can have the DVD player, Sky + and PS2 all in sep scart sockets to the one in the screen - is this right?

    Cheers in advance.

    Si

For the price difference I would go for the PW7. Even setting aside the improvements on the screen, it is worth the extra money just for being more future proof.
