I was about to go out and buy an ES-10 recorder, but just seen the EH-50 sitting next to it in the store!
I will mainly be using the unit for playback (using a ps2 at the moment) but will occasionally be sending stuff from my sky+ box to dvd!
Is it really worth the extra £100 or so for the hd version, or am i better just saving it and getting the ES-10?
    Any suggs appreciated!

The importance of having a HDD inside a DVD recorder is explained here. The question to ask yourself is: do you want to make edited recordings that play on other DVD players? (without having to use a PC to convert)

If the answer is yes then buy the EH50. If not, and the capacity limitations of DVDRs doesn't bother you, then the ES10 is arguably the best budget unit at present.
