The Panasonic E95 can be picked up for £410 - this is an E85 with iLink and PC/SD Card slots (plus a 160GB HDD). It also has JPEG compatibility.

Another alternative is the Toshiba RDXS32 at £330.

The Pioneer 520 is also available in that price range (£370) although it lacks the recording quality of the E85/E95 or the extensive features of the Toshiba.

Hi, I've been looking at getting a DVD recorder for a while, out of interest (and probably a really stupid question  ) but can you record off sky with these,

    Yes of course.

Have a look at the 'Which DVD Recorder?' link in my signature for buying advice!
