For those regulars here, mine was one of many posts highlighting the problem of Panasonic plasmas going into forced stand by. Mine was not the first and i'm sure it wont be the last. I tried my selling dealer, they refered me to Panasonic I tried Barron McCabe they refered me to Panasonic I tried Panasonic customer care 20 TIMES during the first 3 weeks of jan. EVERY TIME i got a message telling me they were too busy to take my call and please call back later. Yesterday I lost my patience (how i lasted 2 months god alone knows) I spent 10 mins on the net found the name of the Managing Director, I then sent him a fax saying unless the director of Customer Service phoned me within 24 hours I would be taking legal action against them under the sale of goods act. 90 mins later they called me Today 24hrs later my plasma is fixed Now i'm not suggesting this is the route for everyone, but it worked for me.
