Looking to buy a new BDP asap.

Does anybody have any thoughts of which of these two bdps are better?

    1) I watch 99% BDPs.

    2) I have a wired ethernet connection available.

    Thanks

Presume you mean the Samsung H6500 and not Sony?

If streaming online content was my priority I'd take the Samsung but build quality and it would be the Panasonic which has dual outs. Both of them are going to play a bluray to pretty much the same standard. There is so little in performance between Blurays, theoretically no difference if the manufacturers don't tweak.

    Hi there, thanks for replying.

I did in fact mean the Sony 6500

    £149.00 - Sony BDPS6500B.CEK 3D 4K Blu-ray Player - Blu-ray - SONY - TPS - The Perfect Signal Ltd

Would you know whether these are identical models? There seems to be a huge price difference, £189 vs £109

    £189.00 - Panasonic DMP-BDT460EB9 Smart Blu-ray Player - Blu-ray Players - Panasonic - TPS - The Perfect Signal Ltd

    Panasonic DMPBDT460 | Smart 3D Blu-ray Player | Richer Sounds

    Thanks again

Never come across the Sony before must be new. The Panasonic has been out for a bit so it's not surprising it's being discounted by some retailers. Yes it's the same.
