im here in the states..just got my panny ae700 last week..using hmdi for the dvd player and composite cables for the hd cable box..
the dvd is amazing...but the cable picture is fuzzy and unclear..colors are horrific...other tvs in house on cable are fine...
going to have the service come out, but anyone have any suggestions or remarks..?

    thanks

Of course the pciture will be awful if you connect using composite. You should use component output on the HD cable box.
