having read reviews on the pl300 us version of ae300 ive come across mentions of non compatability with hdcp
i assume the ae300 is same model only different colour
    anyone confirm this
what is the implications of this?
was considering a dvd like samsung 935 with dvi out that IS hdcp
does that mean it wont work at all with it /
    or just hdcp material?
    hope someone can help

No the AE300 is not HDCP.

It's also decidedly fussy about what it will accept over DVI, HTPC aside only the american Bravo D1 standalone properly supports the AE300 (non-HDCP and can output resolutions the AE300 likes). Unfortunately it's R1 only :( (Only $200 though :) )
