Hello - I've been looking at getting the Samsung 950 dvd player with a view to investing in a new projector in the (hopefully not too distant future) but in the meantime what are the thoughts regarding connection to the Panny - would a DVI-VGA connection be better than progressive?
I have a Tosh 510e at the moment and have compared the prog connection on this to a Tangent D-400 VGA connection - the contrast on the Tangent was better but the chickenwire effect was more pronounced...do you reckon this would be the same with the Samsung and that the AE100 ain't gonna get any better than it already is (which is still pretty good for a budget pj)

    Just wondering...

    cheers

    berth :)
