No buzzing from my two PX70s so far unless you put your ear to the back panel and the room is deathly quiet.

Can't be heard at any other distance in a deathly quiet room.

More importantly, the PX70s have no fans!! :smashin: That should sell them in itself. All other plasmas have noisy audible fans which you CAN hear all the time despite what non-PX70 owners will tell you.

Thanks for the replys gents, had a look at the pioneer 507 at the weekend I did see a slight better picture quality on the pioneer, but I prefer the matt effect surround of the hitachi and of course the price being cheaper.
Has anyone been put off by the 1 HDMI on the rear?

    Many thanks

the 1 hdmi port on the front is a pain, but u can get 3 way hdmi swicthes with remotes for under 40 quid

i think my p50 looks the nutts, i love the mat finish and the led light and the remote. i had a loud pd9700 before, the p50 is quiet. if you put your head behind u can hear a slight electronic hish that u get with many electronic goods, but its very low volume, infront of the tv u cant hear it,

i think for the price the p50 is great

i do not have a problem with the hitachi p50t01.
its quiet as a whisper, the single hdmi is all i need cos i push everything through my 3806, it looks stunning hanging on the wall and the price is super.
once its run in and set up propely i think its going to be great!!
