panny 5 progressive

    how do i tell when my panny 5 42'' is recieving a progressive input from my dv27 also any body know what the progressive thing is in the setup menu on the dv27 that you cant get to is

    You can't :( You should be able to tell though. Atleast I can with my Gamecube and Mario.

    You can view the screen mode 525i/525p/625i/625p on the Panny when entering the service menu (or whatever the menu with the hours counter in is called).

    Once you have entered the menu choose the first item (IIC). Display will (hopefully) show as 525p or 625p depending if ntsc or pal.

    Be careful in those menu's!!

    how do i access the service menu to check these settings..??????
