    just a quick request
    Re the TY42TM6Y
    from what i have read the above is a component board intended for the usa market
    Will this work with a uk 42 PWD8 ..

    It works, but don't forget the D-sub 15 port can be configured for component, just needing the correct cable to save you the £60 or so for the board.

    Will be using a denon 3803 amp to route my dvd.freeview box .through
    is it as simple as a quality 3 phono to D-sub cable ?

    Thanks Maw
    Seen a 15 pin D-sub cable to 3 phono, 3 mtres long at lektropacks
    at £32 (Rather than £65 for the actual video board )

    So using a denon 3803to switch things through
    Would i notice any difference in the pic quality,
    instead of using the panny video board
    and any issues at all ?
