Panny 42 Inch Plasma

Guest
end of life is very soon, and on sept 1st its due a price drop of around £400

so bargain hunters be at the ready, it will probably take a little while to filter down the chain, but the 5 model is about to hit the streets

The 5 model is higher resolution but if you dont have A high definition source it wont make a great deal of difference to us poor souls in the UK

and it will probably be about £1400 more expensive, I would dare bet that you wont have much change out of 5 grand

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but I was looking at the panasonic european website and the 5 models are now listed. There looks to be a 37 and 42 inch standard definition and 42 and 50 inch high definition models. There are no technical specs, just pictures and brief descriptions. I guess that their launch is very soon.

Just select the products button and the plasma models are listed.

Cheers,

Where did you get that info? - I had my Mr Panasonic in to see me on Wednesday and no mention of a price drop; in fact they don't even have info on the D5 models existing as yet.

I suspect the 42" D5 High Def will arrive first and they will launch the 42" D5 Standard Def a little later once any surplus 42" D4 stock is sold out - just my guess mind.

Regards

Joe
