Looks like I need a new TV :lease:
I like Pannys but Ive been worried about seeing a thread dedicated to PD30 problems
    Is this a "rogue" model
Also - I am having trouble finding what is the difference between the PD30 and the PD50
Which is the better TV and what are the differences in spec.

    Steve,

If you read right through the threads on the PD30/50 you'll see that, provided you get a good one, you'll have one of the best displays available.

The differences between PD30 and PD50 are marginal so just go for the best bargain.

    Good luck.

I agree , Ive always bought Pannies the colour rendition is second to non, but i know what the Op is worried about , buying a Lemon . If you buy from Empire Direct you can get 5 year parts and labour for £178 which i think is reasonable. If they cant fix it you get a brand new set.Or get one from John Lewis they might price match Empire and you get 5 year free coverage. :D
