I'm looking to get a new telly, I've lookked at LCD and Plasma and decided the pq wasn't as good as what I've got so I'll leave it for a couple of year. In the meantime I have a Tosh 32w8db which is fine but unfashionably black. I've decided to buy a half decent 32 or 36 crt with component inputs. The toshibas are out of my price range but the two TVs above seem cheap for what the spec is (seen between £500 and £900 on the net). They both get decent reviews (the PL32 rave reviews) but I've noticed on here that some people are not happy. I'm after some advice from owners of either or somebody who knows there onions. Will using component connections make a big diff to pq than RGB. I have a Panny dmr55 and it says not to use progressive with a CRT so will I get any advantage. Any help appreciated cos I've changed my mind that many times my wife is going to withdraw the funds.
    thanks
    Soapy

PL32 seems pretty good. Exchanging my toshiba 36zp48 for it.
