    Hi everyone,

Ive been reading about the Euro1080 channel and have purchased the skystar 2 card but not recived it yet.

Will I be able to get a better picture than dvd with this channel?
    I am using a Panny 200 at 856/480 for 1:1 pixel match.
Do i need a projector with a much higher resolution?

    greenmachine,

I don't think you will see a great improvement with your Panny, due to the resolution used. AFAIK Pal DVD runs at 576 lines of vertical resolution, which is already higher than your Panny.

    Sorry.

apparently with the panny 300 and 500, these are 1/4 resolution HD panels, so the scaling is good and the picture quality is a big step over dvd.
