Well today is a good day.
Just ordered the TH42PW4B. Grinning from ear to ear!!!

    My question is this.
I've had various different advice regarding connecting my Sony digibox to the plasma.
Some have said, get a RGB to VGA convertor, while other's have said that this method means I can't use 'Just' mode which is a bad thing, and so I should use RGB to Composite.

I'm about to order the cables, so that when the plasma arrives I can hook it up straight away..

The DVD is the easy bit, my 735 has component out.

Also, I've had different info on whether or not, if I connect my video to the digibox via scart, I will get a signal on the plasma through the convertor???

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you use the RGB-VGA converter you will loose the JUST mode, becuase the VGA port doesn't support it.
Have a look at the JS Technology site:
    http://www.rgbtosvideo.com/
They are making an RGB-COMPONENT converter soon, but I'm not sure how long this is from sale. This would be the ideal solution. You could daisy chain the DVD player to the Digibox and output RGB from both devices to the component port which does support the JUST mode.
BTW, the converter will not convert composite to RGB, so NO to your last question. Connect the VCR directly to the Composite or S-Video port.

on my toshiba/panny through component i only get 16.9 / zoom/ 4.3 i do not get auto or just through component only through s-video or composite
they do make a rgb to s-video you will be able to use all picture modes with this
as long as your panny does nor suffer from the s-video lock

Now this is weird. On another thread someone said they couldn’t get JUST mode on their Panasonic component input, so I double checked mine.
I have my Sony 7700 DVD player connected directly to my Toshiba 42WP16 component input, and it definitely does support the JUST mode.
    What gives?

Got my Panny from Joe@MediaFactory Saturday wow! It's the daddy!

I and have just started to work my way around it. Have got Sky+ and DVD going RGB to VGA converter set picture to 16:9 on sky and havent needed to alter anything!

Just mode maybe need for terresreal but that will be on Svideo through my VCR so just mode (when my cables turn up)"may " be needed then but I'd say you have sky you will hardly need it. DVD is of cause no problomo.

I would like to turn thr colour down a tad on VGA is there a setting for this anywhere?

All in all very impressed with my new baby
