I have a dvd recorder dmr-es20deb. I was playing about messing with all the options the other day and I seem to have done something to the sound when palyng digital ITV1 channel. Instead ofplaying the normal soundtrack, it plays what sounds like screenplay directions. If I go into sound options I can select English and it is ok. If however I switch to another digital channel and then back to ITV it has reverted to the strange soundtrack. All other channels are ok, and ITV plays ok on analogue.
Can anyone please suggest what I may have done and how I might resolve it? 'Panasonic help' don't want to know.

I don't think the bilingual setting [ see page 45 of the manual] should have any bearing on this , but you could check that is is set to M1.

Otherwsie, it seems like there is some data corruption somewhere. The easiest way to clean it out is to restore the unit to shipping condition and do setup up again.

Find it in : Functions / To others / Setup / Others.

No. That should only happen if you reformat the drive.
