my panasonic finanally went pop just before xmas with less than 400 hours clocked up. i rang panasonic customer services and informed them of my predicament and outlined that although the pj was 2 1/2 years old i would not expect the bulb (or psu) to fail so soon. the bloke i spoke to was very sympathetic and said that if the bulb had failed so soon then they would replace foc. he did say however i would have to pay courier charges of £39 and £25 inspection fee totalling £64. so i rang panasonic today to see if they had managed to diagnose the fault and i was told it had been repaired and a new bulb installed and it was being returned to me tomorrow....ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE. . i would say that anyone in a similar situation, ie pj outside warranty with low hours give them a call, excellent customer service.
