    Hi!

Im thinking about buying a VT60Y. But it has two channel logos burned in the upper right corner. The seller says that its a good chance that this go away with some hours of screen wash.

What is your opinion about this`?

They are bastards to remove from them, if it ever goes, I wouldn't bother.

You sound unsure so I wouldn't risk it. I got lucky with mine and with 30 hours of careful panel aging (using Disney woe calibration disk to flash pixels 24 times a second), a fan blowing behind to help with ventilation and no more than 2 hours at a time, I managed to clear mind. It was just stubborn IR rather than full blown burn. If you're not prepared to attempt that, and potentially rapidly age / damage your set by doing so, don't buy it.

If the burn is clearly visible all the time or most of the time I wouldn't bother as it will be hard to get rid of
If its only view able on white that may just be IR, if its only on white I don't think I'd be too bothered as how often do you look at a pure white screen? My GT50 has a couple of marks but they are only view able on white.

The problem is that because you know it's there, you will always be looking for it. Why not offer him a refundable deposit, on the basis that he runs a screenwipe for a few days ? If it doesn't clear, then walk away.
