Hi. does anybody know how to get the set to turn on directly to av rather than having to select av (for my HDMI) every time I turn the set on? please email me direct if you can help!

Hi, and as a new member...welcome.
The first thing I'd advise is that you edit your post and remove your email address...it's never a good idea to post an email address on a public forum.
What you're asking re your model is easy, connect your most-used piece of HDMI-equipment into the HDMI1 input and within the TVs setup menu select "AV" under "Power on Preference".
