Panasonic Viera stuck on standby

Hi all.

I wondered if anyone can help. Last night we had a fairly good electrical storm go through. When I woke this morning my Panasonic Viera is stuck on standby. It doesn't respond to its own remote, my Sky remote or the power button on the TV itself. I've tried turning all off from the mains for a few minutes and back on, to no avail.

I also notice I have no internet signal being provided to my router now and my landline phone won't power on.

Is there a possibility that the storm has done some damage somehow and ruined my kit? Its too coincidental that all these things will go down at once.

I think unfortunately you have answered your own question. It is most likely damage caused by a lightning strike. We had a customer phone this morning with a similar issue, however many more of her items had been damaged
