Thinking about ordering a Plasma in the next few days. Currently have a budget 28" Goodmans so will be a bit of an upgrade for me!

    1. Are plasmas any good for watching football on?

    2. Is the Viera ok witha Sky+ box? Or is the picture worse than a standard TV feed?

    3. Do Plasmas have a short life? e.g. logo burn in. Someone warned me about this.

    4. Do you have to have a dim room to watch a Plasma TV?

    Thanks,

    Jon

1 YES along as its not an ALIS panel (no Panny or Pioneer are ALIS)

2 Very good but its internal digital tuner is even better

3 60,000 hours (panny ) Longer than an average CRT tube, Logo burn is possiblke just be sensible and TAKE IT OUT OF DYNAMIC MODE

4 NO but high ambient light will wash picture just like on a CRT and they are replefctive so not ideal to put opposite a window (No diplay is ideal for that)
