I have just taken delivery of my bd-30 but when i try to connect it up i get a u-73 error (which in the manual says hdmi problem or damaged cable) I am running it through a hdmi switchbox that is 1.3 compatible and i have no other hdmi issues with any of my other gear:mad:

can anyone shed some light on this?

p.s when i connect the player up to the socket on the tv it is fine!!
