Panasonic TY42TM5H tuner board...

    Basically, what is it? why do I need it? do I need it? Why's it so cheap?

    not sure waht it does or where it goes, but from what I have picked up, the Panasonic TUPT600B tuner will not work with out the board.

    Hi Mac,
    Thanks for the reply. From what I gather you don't really need the tuner. I need some sort of BNC card connected to the plasma though, right?

    You need the TY-42TM5H to connected the reciever to the plasma. Good ol' Panasonic decided not to include this board in the same box as the tuner (even though neither can be used without the other) no doubt resulting in a lot of people buying the tuner but no board to connect it with!
