Every time I turn it on, there is an on screen message informing me that there is an update to the channels.
I duly update and next time I switch on there is the same message.
This has been going on for ages and it is very irritating.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this message please?
Thanks.
Sally

Hi,

I know on my ZT65 there is an option in one of the menus to turn off any update messages.

Think I saw it in help/update message or something.

Not sure if your menus will be similar to my TV.

Mike.

OP : the pans software is detecting " false additional " channel only because you have a aerial / reception problem . Its more than likely your aerial can see extra local transmitters . Cure is to turn the message off and then do a manual tune on each of your "correct multiplexes . You can find this info at Digital UK - Home . Your TV is not faulty in any way ! just doing its job -- now its up to you to set it up correctly .

Thanks for your replies Mike and Redaprilla. I've turned off the update messages option and problem is solved. I'll do a manual tune, but not sure I need to because we have Sky.

Thanks again.

Sally
