I am considering the above Panasonic TV (32PB50). Can anyone recommend the set.

Particularly interested in PICTURE QUALITY, have read mixed reports from previous posts.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

from DVD and Digibox RGB source the picture quality is great

edge deffinition is one of the best (most panny's are !)

However the set does suffer from the moire effect when playing NTSC DVD's and the panasonic dirty screen effect.

Early models suffered from the noisey PSU which would result in a high pitch noise during dark images , panasonic however did bring out a MOD for this last year so the new model's should not suffer from it

Playback of sky football is good , no smearing etc

the inbuilt speaker setup is quite good but some way of seperates (DTS is a bonus however!!!)

If your looking for a TV with inbuilt DD 5.1 and DTS then this is the one to go for
