    Hi all,

I have just bought this and me and my wife are completely underwhelmed with the picture quality............

We owned a 32" Sony CRT for years and the picture quality was great.

With this TV it dont look very good on Freeview. Was the worst last night on Channel 5 trying to watch the football......

Hooked my PS3 and it looked fine though.......

What is causing the poor picture quality on freeview? I always thought our signal reception was fine (although it is a joint arial).

What are good settings? Ive tried changing things........

Could we have a duff tv?

    Thanks

Try turning off all advanced settings, contrast down /sharpness etc, also is it set to live or vivid as default if so switch to standard.

Generally have a play with settings you should be able to get decent picture,
i had Sony Crt and now have a Bravia lcd and was getting similar results to yours, but now after tweaking the settings its very good' maybe not quite as good as my old Vega but i am happy with it.

    I hope this helps.
