Not long now until this model is released...I have been keeping a close eye on prices and was somewhat disappointed with intial estimates in excess of £2k.

This seemed over priced when you think you can get their top of the range 37inch plasma for the same price.

Hi spek have had this TV on site for a few months now with a price over £2k, now revised to £1549...now we are talking!

Whats the difference between this and the TX32LXD50, only thing I can really see is the HDMI connectivity.

Brother has the TX32LXD50 and was very impressed with it and it was not even outputing very high quality stuff.

I'd be impressed if it was the 500 as I don't believe it is out in the UK or even Europe yet.

The main difference only appears to be the HDMI and the looks. If your brother has a TV with the speaker clearly seen under the screen then it is the 50 because the speakers are hidden very very well on the 500.
