Have placed my order and is delivered on sat but just wanted to know which is the best resi to use? 720p or 1080i?

I have no sky HD etc just freeview built into the tv.

Also, anyone got this tv and is it any good?

It's a decent TV, yes. What res to use with what? The machine shows 720p it isn't full HD wont show full 1080 so it will downscale that.

If you have no HD devices, there is no choice what res to use anyway, it will just be SD res.

Get an upscaling dvd player. Do a search on google. I think amazon do a fairly well rated Philips model for £39.99 delivered.

Just to let you know, Laskys are doing a cracking deal on the Panasonic TX32LMD70:

    http://www.laskys.com/televisions/~10_off_selected_panasonic_tvs.html

When ordering just enter PANAS10 in the voucher code entry and the TV becomes £440.99 delivered!!

If you are a member of Quidco go through them to gain an extra 2.5% off (£429.96).

Thanks to Edi at Hotukdeals for this one, they also mention that all Panasonic TV's will come with a 5yr warranty, but not sure........

Chances are the TV will upscale better than a £40 DVD player.

You could also have got this TV for £499 pricematched with Richer Sounds at John Lewis. With them you get a 5-year warranty for free, and service that is second to none.

and... if you have no qualms about spending an additional £200 you could upgrade to either the 32lxd70 or the 32lxd700 get it price matched at john lewis and you'll still be quids in, with a free 5yr warranty to boot!

Ati X800 GTO2 @ 1360x768 I think, text on screen is fine so I assume I've set it up correctly, took a bit of trial and error though.
