I've just placed an order for a Panasonic TX28PM1. The manufacturer's website lists a TX28PM1C, which I assume is the same model as the one I've just purchased. Is this a safe assumption?
The TX28PM1C on the manufacturer's site is listed as having the following:
Receiving Sytem
AV NTSC: PAL 60
NTSC/Modified NTSC
but the retailers site lists the TX28PM1 as having no NTSC compatibility, although the salesmen assure me (!) that it will play my region 1 DVDs.
Does anyone out there own one or feel able to advise whether the TX28PM1 is in fact a safe purchase for someone wanting to be able to use their multiregion player?
Thank You
