I have finally decided to sell my Panasonic TX-P60ZT65B Plasma TV bought from TPS on the 04/06/2013 that has been calibrated by Steve Kemp or ******** as he is known on the Forum & my Panasonic DMP-BDT500EB Multi Region 3D Blu-ray Player also bought from TPS on the 11/08/2012. The Player will accept all eight DVD Regions and all three Blu-ray regions, It has to be changed using the remote control. The TV has a Five Year Warranty, yes I do know it cannot be transfered to new owner but if any issues will gladly help. It also has the TPS Two Year Warranty on top of that, Seven Year Warranty in total. There are no Dead Pixels and no delamination on the corners that I can see. I am uploading photos that show the Total Hours used and Power ups. Steve Kemp (********) has Calibrated the 3D and on ISF Night mode only as this is adequate for all viewing as the TV cannot go any brighter. Why am I selling you are probably asking, just bought a 65" DX902 4K TV & UB900 UHD Player. Asking price for both together is £1800, will even throw in the Stand that you can see in the Photos, Speakers and Amp are not for sale before you ask. This has been lovingly cared for in a Kid/Pet free environment, this is how OCD I am, when not in use, always put the plastic bag the TV came in over the top as a dust cover, sad isn't it. Would love to sell as a package but may split? To be really honest, sad to see this go. 20160504_134059.jpg 20160504_134226.jpg 20160504_134245.jpg 20160504_134302.jpg 20160504_135622.jpg 20160504_135753.jpg 20160504_135827.jpg 20160504_135641.jpg

    Price and currency: £1800
Delivery: Goods must be exchanged in person
    Payment method: Cash on exchange.
    Location: London
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere

I am not very far from you (Hounslow) but the price of this set is on the higher side.

I know what the TV is capable of but I can get a 55" 1080p LG OLED with 5yrs warranty from JL for £1299 or a 55" 4K OLED from JD for £1999 and they both come with 5yrs warranty.

The warranty on this set will probably be a difficult one.

I don't need the blu-ray player or the stand either.

I'll split the TV and player if the price is right? Understand that a TV new can be had for the prices you stated but none have been calibrated, give me an offer and I'll tell what I think it is worth and we can go from there?

The last calibrated one went for £1100 so I'd be looking at that for the TV or possibly £1150 for both?

I'm looking for nearer £1500 for both and I'll throw in the stand as I no longer need it. I'll even box it up for you with a mate and put in your transport, could even help you deliver it to your property, know Hounslow well.

My offer going was going to be based on the last sale.

I know it's not what you are looking for so will probably go with the 1080p OLED route.

Could you deliver to Banstead, it's about 10 miles/30mins from Kingston so slightly further out than Hounslow?

My max would be £1250 though based on previous sale £100 for Blu-ray player (more than going rate on Ebay) and £50 delivery I think is fair, otherwise I'll wait for the E6 OLED to come down in price at the end of the year.

Unable to deliver, vehicle not big enough, see what olisun comes back with before deciding? Furnace Inferno, if the answer is no from olisun I will negotiate further as long as you can pick up in person, no way am I trusting a courier service.

I'd need to work out collection but my max would be £1200.

I appreciate you feel it's worth more, I would too, but that is the market value as I see it.

I'm away tomorrow until Monday so I'll leave it until I'm back and see if it's still available.

I'll leave it until Monday, see if any more interested parties come by? If they do not can we haggle in the middle of £1250 if you pick up in person. Do you want to see it in person or are you happy for it to be boxed up?

If there was a way of delivering I'd have had this from you at asking of £1250

Unfortunately there's no way this would fit in the car :(

Is there any way of delivery? I could obviously view in person beforehand but I'd not be able to transport it.

I'm in Waltham Abbey. I've ordered a EF950 that's due on Monday so if there was some arrangement to be had, I could cancel with Currys.

Edit: to clarify, are you saying that you're going to wait until Monday to move forward? As that is when Furnace Inferno said he'll respond

Ok £1250 sounds fair. I'll need to work out transportation before I can make a firm offer though.

Hmmm what will I use my new found invisibilty for lol.

I assume you don't wish to deal with anyone else until furnace inferno has given you confirmation?

As there hasn't been an acceptance of your £1250 asking.

Anyway a reply to my post earlier would have been courteous.

    Nevermind

Ok. No worries. Will see what his decision is.

Although the earlier posts clearly show that the thread was wide open to other parties with furnace stating he would get back to you on Monday, and you openly stating that you would "see if anymore interested parties come by".

Thanks for waiting @RPM40INSTRUCTOR as I haven't formally made an offer feel free to sell it to someone else if you don't want to wait until I get back :smashin:.

Intrigued as to why you would want this over the OLED, if I had the money right now I'd be getting the LG!

Hi Furnace Inferno, it's simply because of the uniformity issues. It's pretty much guaranteed that the plasma will have better above black uniformity, and I'd bet less vertical banding. If the ZT is anything like the VT65 I owned there may be 2 faint bands that line up with the VESA mount holes, I ended up going through quite a few exchanges and they all had it. Obviously not sure if the ZT was prone to it.

The only real thing the Oled has over the 60 series is lower mll, but in a room with bias lighting the difference in black levels will be negligible. The ZT has very very deep blacks.

Add to that the superior motion handling, the fact that all my content is 1080p, plus I'd be saving nearly a grand, and gaining 5" too makes it very tempting. It would be worth me renting a van even at a cost of 3 figures and I'd still be "up" compared to the purchase of the EF950.

Obviously I could purchase a 1080p oled for the same sort of money but having owned and sold a 930 For Sale - Oled TV LG 55EC930V NOW SOLD and gone through several 910s LG EG910V the screen door effect was off putting, and I personally didn't think the image quality was that great on them if you ignored the black levels. If I wasn't as sensitive to the screen door effect I'd probably go for a 930 again from John Lewis with a 5 year warranty for £1299

Just to be clear though I apologise if it feels like I was trying to "barge in", I was just a little bit annoyed (not with yourself) as you made it clear you wanted to think about it but my interest was pretty much ignored by the seller, despite him clearly stating that in the meantime he would wait for other interest. Anyway I appreciate that a seller can choose to deal with who they wish, so I'll take a step back.
