Panasonic TX-P42G10 vs Sony Vaio VPCCW1Z

Standard Member
Hi guys, im having some problems with my setup, im wondering if they can be solved. Im connecting my Sony Vaio VPCCW1Z to my Panasonic TX-P42G10 via HDMI ports. I can get 1080p but the highest resolution i can get it to work at is 1768 x 992, when its on 1920 x 1080 (which says is the recommended) the picture is too big for the screen :(

Tried everything but cant seem to solve the problem, annoying because there is a small black frame around the 1768 x 992 resolutions picture.

Thanks in advance!
