Hi guys,

I think I've narrowed my options down to these two TVs.

Don't care for 3D, have a 1080p 3D TV and I never use that feature.

My main concerns are:

- Deep blacks
- Minimal backlight clouding
- Motion handling

What I'll be using it for:

- 4K & HD Football and HD Ice Hockey
- 4K TV shows like Man in the High Castle on Netflix & Amazon Prime
- TV on Sky Q
- Gaming

Viewing Distance: 1.7m (Could easily move closer)
Preference: Watching in a darker room

Thanks!

Agreed though 5 feet is rather close to it.

?:)

55ks7000 without a doubt ...

Any specific reason? I'm also looking at these two tv's and had kind of leaned towards the Panasonic. The 802 is larger and from the original price I thought it would be more of a competitor to the KS8000 but maybe I'm just being taken in by marketing model numbers? The downside seems to be brightness (and the frame seems to put people off).

For the reasons you stated at the beginning of your post ....
