Hello, I've got a Panasonic Tx-32pg50 (pal) which has got progressive scan, but strangely has no component inputs. This seems odd as I'm under the impression that you only get progressive scan via components. Am I wrong, and if I am, does anyone know an inexpensive pal dvd player with progressive output through a scart?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

The 32PG50 does not accept into it a progressive scan signal from an external source, but can convert signals into progressive scan format for display using its own internal processing.

Thanks, you've confirmed what I had suspected.
