I have bought the panasonic viera tv and the dvd theater system. However, the picture using the hdmi connection is worse than using a scart. No matter what output you put it on, be it 576 or 1080. The film is pixelated in the background. Any ideas?

Have you tried changing the 850's picture in the menu?

To what? Ive tried a few of the scale settings they are all bad.

had a similar problem last year with my panny hdmi dvd set up- cured it by going into the dvd players hdmi display .settings and changing the colour space to RGB-hope this helps.
