Got it delivered today along with the new Panny DMREH50 DVD Recorder.

First impressions are that both are superb although I have one niggle with the TV so far.

The channel indicator remains in the top left hand corner all the time and I would have thought that I could remove this option ?

Have read through the (poor) instruction manual and tried walking through the menu options on screen but to no avail.

Can anyone tell me if you can remove this indicator and if so, how ?

    thanks.

Press the 'i' button on the remote.

Sorry that only gets rid of the AV1,2,3 or 4 display.
Just had a play with my set and can't get the channel number to stay showing.
I'll have another try later if you can't find the fix.

Going from memory here but look for a button probably 3rd or 4th row down with a small square icon of a Tv screen with a small "+" in it.
