I have just tried to update my set (TX-28DTX) to the new software (V2.45), it downloaded fine, installed and then the screen went blank. I waited and nothing happened, so I turned off the set and when I switched it back on the Digital tuner did not work or let me retune it.

    - Is there a bug in the software? is my set kaput!
    - Has anyone else updated?
    - What should I do?

The software says it provisional on this site but I didnt know that when I was told to update it:

Thanks in advance for any help or advice

I've got the DTX40 model which is the same download and it works fine. So good in fact that I can't see what difference it made to anything.

Cheers for that at least im not alone, Ive got a engineer coming round and hopefully he can force a new upgrade/downgrade of the software to get it working. I wont be happy if they want to take away the set and if they do they should give me a brand new one!

Just spoken to Panasonic customer services regarding this problem and they are sending the "cam" so I can self-fix my TV.
Not at all happy to have to chase first of all my supplier then Panasonic about an update they supplied that has crashed my TV. Anybody out there know my rights if the cam fails to correct the fault, I bought the set late March, can I return the TV for a full refund?
    Appreciate any comments.
