Can anyone give me some advice on the Panasonic TV modle TX28DK1.

My old telly finally gave out on me and the insurance company have offered me this modle as a replacement for £350.45, or I can upgrade to somethink else.

The only thing I need to know is can you fit external speakers to this modle so I can widen the sound stage as I was able to do this with my old telly.

I guess the answer would be to try and find out how old the set is. I own a 25MK1 which is 2 years old. By the model no, I suppose your 28mdk1 is older. If so then it is not worth the price seeing as a brand new set is about £400 or so.
If the tube isn't a quintrix type then give it a miss.
