Does anyone have any experience of recent Panasonic TV's and programmeable remotes (philips pronto or similar)? In particular I'm getting a TX28PS12 and I'm wondering if

    a) it responds to standard panasonic discrete power on/power off codes.

or b) there's a workaround (like it comes on from standby if you press & hold '1' on the remote as many TV's do)

    c) does the selection of AV inputs follow the standard panasonic 'press TV/AV and then a colour' approach?

If anyone knows the answer, or has time to quickly check for me, I'd be very grateful.

    cheers,

    Robin.

I haven't used it with a pronto but I can tell you that my Marantz receiver's programmable remote can control the PS12 well.

The selection of AV inputs does indeed follow the TV/AV then press a colour approach.
