Question Panasonic TV/Netflix/Amazon issue

Hi, i am sure this question has been asked before but i am now pulling my hair out! i have a Panasonic TX-55CX680B with a Qacoustics M2 soundbase, connected with Optical cable. Sound from SKY Q, Amazon etc is fine but Netflix worked and now i do not get any sound anymore. Tv has latest firmware, PCM in menu selected and before watching anything from Netflix i select stereo sound. Swapped to an HDMI cable: exactly the same issue. In my other room i have a Samsung TV, running through a Marantz AV receiver and i get sound from ALL apps just fine!

I forgot to add; if I run Netflix through the Panasonic BD player, connected through HDMI, I DO get sound coming from Netflix through the soundbase!

What am i doing wrong? Any suggestions/ I am ready to ditch the Panasonic to be honest. Any help appreciated as i find it really annoying that i have to turn on TV sound just for Netflix
