Panasonic Tv green light not working

Hi
We have a Panasonic 24” tv, and the green on light is not working. The TV can be turned on from the mains but cannot change channels because the remote will not work without the green light to connect.
Any ideas with regard to this.

Panny TVs generally have red light on in standby. When remote ON is pressed that flickers on infra red reception to turn on to green and screen lights up etc.,.

Most have on-the-tv buttons to channel up/down power on/off etc.,. Do they work?

Check the remote batteries are OK.
Use a phone or table camera to 'see' the infra red emitted by the remote (point remote at the camera lens).

Find an read the manual for the exact model of TV?

Can you post the model number? If it's a Vestel (likely will be if it's 24") the infrared receiver is on the LED board which would also explain why it doesn't respond to the remote, if you have no lights at all it's likely the K-PCB needs replacing.
